Brett Landes is the President, Founder, and CEO of The Landes Group, whos primary business is spearheading the acquisition of single-tenant real estate across the United States. Under his leadership since 2006, the company has successfully acquired over 900 single-tenant properties, totaling more than $6 billion in value.

Brett began his real estate career in 1992 with The Staubach Company, where he later founded Staubach Capital Partners in 1995. Specializing in single-tenant sale-leaseback acquisitions, Brett has been instrumental in acquiring more than $14 billion in single-tenant assets over his career. He has also partnered with Roger Staubach on numerous ventures, including the establishment of SCP Capital over a decade ago.

Beyond The Landes Group, Brett is a partner in Vintage Interests, focusing on warehouse property acquisitions in the Southwest, and has facilitated property acquisitions across 40 states in collaboration with SCP Capital.Brett’s entrepreneurial ventures extend beyond real estate. As the founder of Landes Foods, a leading supplier of tortillas and chips to major brands such as Brinker International and Tyson Foods, he successfully led the 
company from its inception in 2004 to its sale in 2016.

A graduate of Bryan College with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Brett was an All-American basketball player during his time there. He remains actively involved in his community, contributing to charities such as Cattle Barons, St. Paul Medical, and Little Heroes through fundraising and 
sponsorship efforts.

Austin has been with The Landes Group since 2014. He is involved in acquisitions, dispositions, financing and marketing operations. Austin provides expertise in finance as well as commercial real estate credit and has been involved in over $750 million in single-tenant transactions since joining The Landes Group.

Prior to The Landes Group, Austin was a Sales and Services Officer at BB&T Corporation, where he was involved in over $200 million in commercial credit. Austin also gained insight into commercial banking by attending BB&T’s Leadership Development Program in North Carolina. Prior to BB&T, Austin worked for a real estate investment firm acquiring and managing industrial and single-tenant retail assets. Austin is involved in various charitable organizations such as Urban Specialists, Prime 5 and Stand Together. Austin received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Oklahoma, graduating with honors.

Caleb joined The Landes Group in March of 2016, as a Senior Investment Advisor, supporting the acquisition, disposition, and market research of single-tenant assets. Since joining the company, he has been involved in over $600 million in single-tenant transactions. Prior to joining The Landes Group, Caleb worked as an intern with a real estate investment firm, where he gained insight and experience in acquiring single-tenant assets. Caleb received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Baylor University.

Scott Woodward joined The Landes Group in 2024 as Chief Financial Officer.  Scott has over 28 years of experience serving the financial services and real estate industries.  Scott has served as CFO for real estate, financial services and healthcare companies for the past decade.  Scott is also a former Transaction Advisory and Audit partner with over 20 years of public accounting experience including the financial services and real estate industry services group of KPMG and Arthur Andersen.  Scott is a certified public accountant in the state of Texas and a member of the Texas Society of CPAs and Financial Executives International.

Ali joined The Landes Group in 2020 as Vice President of the West Coast office. She manages the brokerage arm of the Landes Group, focusing on the sale of single tenant net lease properties all over the U.S. Since her start in commercial real estate, she has been involved in over $300 million in single-tenant transactions. Prior to joining The Landes Group, she owned her own brokerage firm out of Dallas. Ali received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas at Dallas.

Sam has been a vital part of the Landes Group since 2005, starting as a Property Manager and working his way up to become the Director of Development. In these roles, Sam has overseen the management of numerous commercial and residential real estate properties, ensuring smooth operations and tenant satisfaction. Additionally, Sam has coordinated all tenant improvement and corporate commercial projects, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

As Director of Development, Sam leads strategic planning and execution of new development initiatives, fostering growth and innovation within the company. Sam’s responsibilities also extend to the corporate asset management function, which includes overseeing an impressive collection of fine art and collectibles.

Before joining the Landes Group, Sam gained valuable experience in the transportation business and concierge industry, honing skills in customer service and logistics. Beyond the real estate realm, Sam is also a successful entrepreneur, owning three thriving restaurants. Sam’s diverse background and multifaceted expertise make them an indispensable asset to the Landes Group, driving both operational excellence and strategic growth.

Jack joined The Landes Group in 2023. He is involved in acquisitions, dispositions, and development. Prior to joining The Landes Group, Jack was actively involved in over $1.7 billion of acquisitions at RREAF Holdings, a Dallas-based multifamily fund. Jack started his career as an Analyst in the Acquisitions Group at Domino Capital in Beverly Hills, California, where his responsibilities included creating financial models and investment packages for multifamily and retail deals throughout the West Coast. Jack received his BA in Religion from Dartmouth College where he was a letterman on the football team.

Carson joined The Landes Group in December of 2022 as an Analyst and Researcher. Prior to working at The Landes Group, Carson worked for Title Partners, a Title Company where he gained experience in the Acquisition and Disposition of Commercial and Residential Assets, this experience has allowed him to help find new investment opportunities for The Landes Group. Carson Received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Dallas Baptist University.

Cheryl is a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with over 15 years of experience supporting executives and teams in fast-paced office environments. Known for strong organizational skills, professionalism, and discretion, she excels at managing calendars, coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

With a proactive mindset and excellent communication abilities, Cheryl serves as a reliable point of contact for internal teams and external partners. She is adept at handling confidential information, streamlining workflows, and juggling multiple priorities without missing a beat.
