Brett Landes is the President, Founder, and CEO of The Landes Group, whos primary business is spearheading the acquisition of single-tenant real estate across the United States. Under his leadership since 2006, the company has successfully acquired over 900 single-tenant properties, totaling more than $6 billion in value.
Brett began his real estate career in 1992 with The Staubach Company, where he later founded Staubach Capital Partners in 1995. Specializing in single-tenant sale-leaseback acquisitions, Brett has been instrumental in acquiring more than $14 billion in single-tenant assets over his career. He has also partnered with Roger Staubach on numerous ventures, including the establishment of SCP Capital over a decade ago.
Beyond The Landes Group, Brett is a partner in Vintage Interests, focusing on warehouse property acquisitions in the Southwest, and has facilitated property acquisitions across 40 states in collaboration with SCP Capital.Brett’s entrepreneurial ventures extend beyond real estate. As the founder of Landes Foods, a leading supplier of tortillas and chips to major brands such as Brinker International and Tyson Foods, he successfully led the
company from its inception in 2004 to its sale in 2016.
A graduate of Bryan College with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Brett was an All-American basketball player during his time there. He remains actively involved in his community, contributing to charities such as Cattle Barons, St. Paul Medical, and Little Heroes through fundraising and
sponsorship efforts.
